Ready Steady Safety Plain English

This policy explains what account and service data Ready Steady Safety uses to run the app.

1 Privacy

Data collected

The service may store account details, email address, company name, selected plan, primary industry, contact messages, and delivery logs.

Stripe handles payment checkout. Ready Steady Safety stores Stripe customer, subscription, and status identifiers needed to confirm access.

2 Privacy

How data is used

Data is used to provide account access, plan-gated content, support, audit history, service reliability, and owner/admin oversight.

Contact messages are used to reply to support, payment, delivery, service, and enterprise setup enquiries.

3 Privacy

Storage and sharing

Deployment secrets and Stripe secrets are stored in environment variables. They should not be stored in code.

Data is shared with service providers only where needed to run the app, such as hosting, email, Stripe checkout, and Sentry error monitoring.

4 Privacy

Error monitoring and approximate location

Ready Steady Safety uses Sentry to receive crash and error diagnostics. When a diagnostic event is sent, it can include technical information such as stack traces, app version, operating-system and device details, timestamps, and captured error context.

Sentry may infer an approximate location, such as country, region, or city, from IP address or network information when a diagnostic event is sent. The iOS app does not request Location Services permission for this purpose.

Sentry diagnostics are used only to maintain app functionality, minimise crashes, investigate faults, and improve reliability. Ready Steady Safety does not use Sentry diagnostics for advertising or cross-app tracking.

5 Privacy

Cookies and analytics

The app uses essential cookies for login sessions and security protections.

If analytics is enabled, the analytics script is optional and only loads after the visitor accepts analytics consent.

6 Privacy

Your rights

Customers can ask for correction, deletion, or a copy of their data by using the account deletion request page or the support email on this page.

Some records may be retained where needed for account history, payment records, support, security, audit logs, or legal obligations.
